Four territories split the meadows. Each terra is large, and abundant with foliage. The summers are cruelly blistering, and the winters are dangerously cold. Any young foal would find it a struggle to live here in the winter and summer months, as during the winter, the foliage dies, and the water freezes, and in the summer, the grass grows lush, but the water evaporates until it rains. Storms over the meadows are dangerous. Floods are the main problem, as well as lightning, since it mostly strikes the Earth with each flash. Several trees surround the meadows, separating each territory from the other. However, in these trees lurks large packs of wolves, and many venomous critters, as well as the occasional mountain lion and bear, however, mountain lions and bears are rarely found rummaging near herds.
